Overview

Everywhere in Vietnam you can see rice paddies. Rice is a part of life, and it reflects the Vietnamese culture. You will be met at your hotel and transferred to a village for a short journey on the buffalo cart to the farming family. Meet the farmers and enjoy the rice tea before putting on traditional Vietnamese farmer clothing to prepare for getting into the field. You will be explained to understand the life of the countryside people as well as the old traditional ways of producing rice: raking soil on the field, scooping water, transplanting rice, preparing cooking rice…. You will be instructed to do the farming work, to experience the gentle water buffalo up close or even to have a short ride on these gentle animals. Finally, enjoy a meal with the farmer's family before returning to your hotel.
