Naibor camp is located in the Maasai Mara near the confluence where the Talek River meets the Mara River. The camp nestles beneath the boughs of acacia and guests can relax and enjoy the vastness of Africa in complete privacy. This property is a seasonal camp that has the incomparable benefit of being in an exclusive area for walking and game drives during the day and night.
The tents nestle amongst a riverine forest and are spaced so that each has a unique view of the surrounding bush and wildlife. The tents are furnished with solid, comfortable furniture so that you have the ultimate in camping-luxury to come back to after exciting game drives or walks in the conservancy.

Main Naibor has a total of 7 tents. Each tent is a private unit complete with shady verandah, his & hers wash basins, en-suite bathroom with flush toilet and safari shower. The tents are all carefully positioned amongst the trees so that each can enjoy the surrounding woodland in complete privacy.

Dining
The large mess tent is fitted with a long banquet table where you can enjoy your dinners by candle light. Lunch and breakfast are usually served in the shade of the adjacent trees, overlooking a wide bend of the Talek River. Enjoy watching pods of hippo wading in the water while you dine.Meals are prepared using the freshest, quality ingredients, and the experienced chefs will present you with delicious, hearty meals.Before dinner in the evening, enjoy drinks around the campfire, sharing stories about the day's sightings. For a more romantic occasion, or to get even closer to the wilderness, you can enjoy your meals out in the bush, listening to the sounds of the wild and tucking into the same delicious cuisine.

Located at the end of the Mess Tent and overlooking the Talek River, our lounge is the ideal place to relax between game drives. Comfortable sofas and chairs are complemented by generously sized floor cushions, offering plenty of space to put up your feet and enjoy a book from our collection. In the evenings, our staff light the lanterns and candles and provide a blanket if you’re chilly. Look forward to your complementary neck and shoulder massage from our masseuse, Ann, while you visit with fellow guests and await dinner. At the end of the lounge is a deck overhanging the Talek River, where you can watch Egyptian geese waddling down to the water’s edge or listen to the soothing sound of the rapids curling around the rocks. Would you like your meal on the deck? Just ask, and our staff will set up a table and chairs.

Naibor Camp has launched a stunning new range of jewellery in their beautiful boutique that will excite guests from all over the world. Alongside these works of art from up-and-coming designer Rosie Sharp, Naibor also stays true to its roots by showcasing beautiful tribal pieces. Designer Rosie Sharp has created a collection inspired from a life spent in the African bush and travelling the world. Having been trained by renowned jeweller Billy King in Mexico, Rosie’s designs are clearly a mix of uber chic style and exotic elegance. Each piece is individually created by hand and uses natural and local products where possible. Having spent significant time at Naibor and with their guests from all over the world, Rosie has infused these experiences into her range at the boutique to match the ethos of the camp and its surroundings. Following the growing recognition of her talent Rosie hopes to extend her new jewellery designs to appeal to a broad and expanding global audience. Also at Naibor’s boutique is a vibrant range of Maasai jewellery created by two phenomenal tribal women. The art of making jewellery from beads is a long-standing Maasai tradition passed from one generation of women to the next. These women begin by helping their mothers after school at a very young age. Whilst in training, young girls start with simple pieces such as bracelets and then graduate onto the complex pieces which require a much higher level of skill taking many days to create. The Maasai women rely on this skill in order to bring in vital additional money to school, feed and provide medical care for their children. They also sell their jewellery at local markets and to their immediate community. These women were introduced to Naibor by their husband’s, who work at the camp. Their beautiful pieces of such high quality are extremely popular with visitors.
