After breakfast, depart Nairobi and journey through Kenya’s scenic highlands, descending into the Great Rift Valley. En route, drive past the historical chapel built by Italian POWs and the Longonot Earth Satellite Station. Continue via Narok and across golden wheat and barley fields to the world-renowned Masai Mara.
Enjoy lunch at your lodge, followed by your first exciting afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

A masterful interpretation of a traditional Masai village, Mara Serena Lodge seemingly floats on a sea of savannah. A beautiful pool looks out over the wide plains. The rooms are Masai-influenced in style yet extremely comfortable. The main dining room, where delicious meals are served, has three large domes and three small ones depicting Maasai manyattas (villages). Occasionally an African al fresco barbecue is served by the pool overlooking the Mara plains. Fresh fruit juices and cocktails, wines, spirits or liqueurs are available at the bar until late in the evening. At Serena, the views are stunning. It is on this very terrain, stretching endlessly before the lodge, that the annual migrations take place. Millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle pass through on their way to and from their alternative feeding grounds in Tanzania.
Start the day with breakfast followed by a morning game drive, returning mid-morning to relax before lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive with a visit to a local Masai Village, returning to the lodge at sunset.

Depart the Mara after breakfast, traveling across Kenya’s agricultural heartland through Narok to the Rift Valley floor and on to Lake Nakuru. A picnic lunch is provided.
Enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its birdlife and endangered species, including flamingoes, black and white rhinos, and Rothschild giraffes. Continue to your camp located in Elmenteita, arriving at sunset.

After an early breakfast, head to Nairobi, where you'll stop for a hot lunch before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for onward travel plans (alternatively drop off Panari Hotel).
